The Duat

THE DUAT dares us - as audiences, as members of our communities, as citizens - to love one another unconditionally.

At the heart of this piece is a character whose worldview is tainted by biases and bigotries he's inherited, not just from his parents and grandparents, but by a country that uses race and class-based hierarchy to distract its citizens from the real question: how can we all be free?

I believe that the answer is simple: by disrupting the systems that tear us apart and loving each other both as unique beings and fellow travellers through the journey of the human condition.
